Campus Greens convention merged into national meeting

   Excitement is building for the Annual National Meeting of the Green Party July 27 to 30, Thursday to Sunday, in Tucson, AZ.  Don't miss this rare chance to attend such a confab in our state!
   Pima Greens host the world!  (Pima County, AZ.)
   The separate Campus Greens convention was cancelled due to low response.  They will be welcome to this general meeting instead, with some CG caucussing, etc.
   Volunteers are still needed.
   The meeting will include plenary sessions of the National Committee, election of new Steering Committee members, meeting of Identity Caucuses and working committees, campaign school for candidates, workshops, fundraisers, news conferences, and lots of fun.
 
   Special parts of the event:
   July 28, Friday, 5-5:45 p.m.  We stand with Women In Black at their regular weekly public vigil in protest of War and Occupations.  North Euclid Avenue and East Speedway Boulevard, Tucson.  (Near the northwest corner of the University of Arizona campus.)  Free.
   Same day, 6 p.m.  Mexican food dinner in the church on the same corner, 740 East Speedway Boulevard.  Simultaneously, we will consider Immigration Issues and eat a catered Mexican meal (carnivore or vegetarian).  An elected Green Party (Partido Verde) official from Mexico, and others are our honored guests.  13.50 $ with reservation (telephone 520-798-6169); 15 $ without reservation. 
   July 29, Saturday, 7 p.m.  Breaking news!  Dave Lippman and Anne Feeney in Concert.  To benefit the Green Party of the United States.  Location and prices to be announced.
 
   The meeting will be in the Historic YWCA Building, 738 North 5th Avenue (north of East 4th Street).  Enter on the north side on East University Boulevard.  One kilometre west of the University of Arizona and of our dorms, one kilometre north of the Greyhound bus depot, 2 South 4th Avenue (at East Broadway Boulevard).
